How do I book a radiology scan?

Reach out to our team via WhatsApp at +65 8437 3056. Our team will assist you in arranging appointments for X-rays, CT, MRI, or Ultrasound and advise on specific prep instructions. Please note: we exclusively handle imaging scans, not blood test referrals.

Where will the hospital for the radiological scans be?

Radiological scans are conducted at Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau in Johor, Malaysia. This is a premier private hospital partner, and your appointment will be fully arranged and coordinated by Borderflow SG for your convenience.

You will be provided the appointment date and time as well as preparation instructions beforehand.
On arrival at Columbia Asia Hospital in Tebrau, you will be ushered to see a medical doctor who will confirm their scan and make the order. You can then proceed for the scan. The results will be emailed to you within 48 hours.

What will happen on the day of the scan?
What happens if there is an abnormal radiological scan?

If a scan is abnormal, the radiologist's report is sent directly to you. You should then follow up with your usual doctor or specialist in Singapore for clinical interpretation. Rest assured, any urgent findings will be flagged by the hospital at the time of the scan.

What is the expected turnaround time for radiological results?

The typical turnaround time for receiving your radiology report is within 48 hours. The report will be sent to your registered email address by Borderflow

Blood tests

What is the process for health screening blood tests?

First, patients contact Borderflow SG to arrange their screening. You will be scheduled for an appointment at one of our partner clinics in Singapore, where your blood sample is taken locally. The sample is then securely transported to our accredited Malaysian laboratory for processing.

What happens if there is an abnormal blood test?

Results are sent to both you and your Singapore-based clinic/doctor. Your registered healthcare professional in Singapore will review the lab report and handle all necessary follow-up consultations or clinical interpretations.

How are the blood samples sent across to the Malaysian lab?

Samples are handled with care by our Singapore partner clinic and transported using standard medical logistics and cold chain protocols to ensure integrity. They are delivered directly to the accredited Malaysian laboratory for immediate processing.

How is the lab in Malaysia accredited?

The lab in Malaysia is one of the country's largest lab and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. This is a requirement from the Ministry of Health in Singapore for blood tests done locally. This is a mark of assurance that the lab results are accurate. 

What is the expected turnaround time for lab results?

Most laboratory blood test results are ready within 48 hours. Once processed, they are delivered securely to you and your referring doctor in Singapore.
